            The founder of the company, Mr Govindan Nair (Chairman), commenced operation as a manufacturing and local supplier of furnishing fabrics at Cannanore, Kerala, in 1957 in the name "Vijaya Govinda Weaving Co". Over the years the company has built a resource base of highly motivated professionals and manufacturing unit of 500 hand and power looms run on contract basis along with in-house dyeing units inspired by the overall business growth. Govindan Nair's son Pradeep Kumar consolidated the company by entering in to export since 1982.Today the company has grown progressively with a complete infrastructure and a strong liquidity base.

               In a short span of time the company's  growth has been phenomenal. The company exports home furnishings and garments to U.S.A, Germany, U.K, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, Italy and Japan to some of the illustrious names in the industry. The company is an Export house and has obtained certificate  on the year 2001 under the exim policy. The company comprises of a young professional team with vast experience in trade and consists of in-house production ( fabric as well as end product), finishing and packing facilities to ensure absolute stringent quality and timely deliveries, matching the quality measures of modern world.
